NANA Episode 21.5

Yet another recap ep... Having followed the manga to death and repeatedly poring over the chapters whilst countlessly watching and re-watching the anime eps, a recap really seems unnecessary, considering that there's only been 20 eps to date (13.5 doesn't count!). But even so, I relish Nana eps in all it's shapes and sizes so it was still nice to watch a 'fresh' ep. Watching all the drama over again actually shows how much has actually happened and their past feels like ancient times! Hehe i mean, c'mon, Shouji?! I haven't thought about the dude since episodes ago=p It was also nice to listen to all the songs seamlessly inserted at punctuated moments during the whiz-by-what-it's-over?! ep. It must be *hard* to pick the select dramatic scenes and I really admire how awesome the end result is. With all the audio and visual effects, gorgeous soundtrack, key moments...yet still managing to fulfill it's purpose as a recap! Truly a feat that honours Yazawa-sensei's work of art=)

Basically, the recap takes us through the highlights of eps 14 through to 21. And strolling through the Nana-memory-lane...
~ The infamous Shouji-Sachiko scandal. Shouji cheats?! Grr Sachiko too for not being above keeping someone else's man! Nana K's 'heartbreak'. Nana O there through it all.
~ Nana K's mourning-Shouji period relieved by true 'love' Nana O's news that Blast have landed a gig!=D
~ Enter Misato, uber-fan from back home.
~ Nana K learns about Ren and Nana O's history.
~ Both Nanas at the Trapnest live in Nana K's hometown.
~ Nana O and Ren reunite and it was like they were never apart... Love blooms eternal!
~ Nana K itches for a boyfriend. Yas-san? Nobuo? Eenie-meenie-minie-Takumi?! Nana K's dream come true as arranged by Ren's significant other =)
~ Nana K gets fired!
~ Hachi (Nana K) and Takumi hook up. She seeks love but accepts it's just a one-night stand...
~ Hope springs eternal when Takumi leaves his number and e-mail addy!
